How to send a surprise gift anywhere in Pakistan with Cash on Delivery

All guides

Most of our orders are not for the person placing them. A sister in Lahore sending a teddy to her niece in Karachi, a husband in Dubai surprising his wife in Islamabad, a friend in Peshawar remembering a birthday in Quetta. Here is exactly how to send a plushie as a gift, including the part everyone asks about: Cash on Delivery.

1. Use their details, not yours

At checkout, enter the recipient’s name, full address, city and phone number. The courier calls that number before delivering, so it must be a phone they will answer.

If you want order updates yourself, put your email address in the email field. You will get an email at every step with a one-click link to track the order, without needing their phone number.

2. Add your message

Write your gift message in the “Gift message or notes” box at checkout. We handwrite it on a card and tuck it in with the plushie. Every order is gift-wrapped for free in pastel tissue and ribbon, and there is never a price tag or invoice inside the parcel.

3. Sort out the payment

All our orders are Cash on Delivery, which means the rider collects payment from whoever receives the parcel. For a surprise, that is usually not what you want. You have two options:

  • Tell us in the notes that it is a gift and you would like to pay. We will call you to arrange payment in advance, so the recipient pays nothing at the door.
  • Let them know a parcel is coming and that it is cash on delivery. This works well for family members who are in on it.

4. Plan for the date

Delivery takes 2 to 3 working days in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi, and 3 to 5 working days elsewhere. For a birthday or anniversary:

  • Order at least four working days ahead.
  • Write the date in the notes, for example “Birthday on 24 November, please deliver before”.
  • Remember that public holidays (especially around Eid) slow couriers down. Order earlier in those weeks.

5. Track it

Keep your order number (it starts with PW-). Enter it on the Track order page with the phone number used on the order, or simply click the link in any of our order emails.

What if nobody is home?

The courier will call and try again the next working day. After two failed attempts the parcel comes back to us and we will call you to rearrange, so it is worth giving the recipient a gentle hint that “something” is on its way.
